Hi, I’m Karolina, a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), offering therapy for young people (11+) and adults.
Originally from Poland, I now live in England, where I’m dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing space for you to talk and feel understood.
My main focus is on supporting young people as they navigate the challenges of growing up — from managing anxiety and identity struggles to coping with school stress, family conflict, and low confidence. I also work with adults seeking greater self-understanding, personal growth, or wanting to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I provide a calm and compassionate environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, knowing that you will be heard, accepted, and supported.
I have experience working in hospitals and schools, supporting clients with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, and low self-esteem.
Over the years, I’ve also worked with children and young people who have been excluded from mainstream education, many of whom struggled with complex emotions and behaviours linked to past trauma, neglect, or instability.
These experiences have deepened my understanding of how early adversity can shape how we feel, think, and relate to others — and how important it is to feel heard, accepted, and valued.

My approach
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is at the key of effective therapy. I provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. I also believe our past experiences shape how we think, feel, and behave, and understanding them can be key to addressing current challenges. Together, we identify what you want to change and work collaboratively to support your growth, using an integrative approach that adapts to your needs with warmth and compassion.
